Non-Swedish players
Non-Swedish players are allowed to participate in Schack-SM if they are registered for
another federation in Fide.
Sections open for non-Swedish players are Mästarklassen, Klass I-IV and Veteran
Allmän.
The Elo or Swedish national rating required to qualify for Mästarklassen is 2150, for
Klass I it is 2000 and for Klass II it is 1800.
Players who does not meet these requirements are placed in Klass III.
Klass IV is optional for players with Swedish national rating below 1400.
For players without Swedish rating or Elo, the strength of play will be estimated by the
organisers on basis of the national rating. |

Entry
Entries are made via the tournament website or by mailing Axel Smith (axel.smith@
lask.se).
State your name, Elo + national rating, and the section you wish to play in. The entry
fee should be paid to our bank account 6759 - 562 868 372 before the 3rd of June 2010.

Sections
Elo registration will be made for Mästarklassen. Klass I-IV and the weekend tournament
will be Elo-registered if enough Elo-rated players are participating.

Mästarklassen, Veteran Allmän 7 round Swiss (7 days)
Klass I, II, III and IV 7 round round robin (7 days)
Weekend tournament 5 round round robin (3 days)
● The Schack4an-Mästaren is a monrad tournament, open for children born 1999
and later.
● The Weekend tournament consists of six-players round robin groups determined by
rating.
● The bottom Klass I, II, III, IV and Weekend tournament groups will be Swiss groups
if the number of participants can’t be divided by 8 and 6 respectively.
● Veterans are born on the 1st of January 1950 and earlier, 1st of January 1960 and
earlier for women. |
