Miton surprised me in the opening with Rc8. In the post mortem he showed some absurd lines he had analysed. In the game I chose a more human solution, and my simple plan almost seems to refute blacks idea. I think I played rather exact over the next few moves and got a good position, but it costed some time. The pragmatic solution would be to offer a draw.
At the board I see myself as a tournament player, i.e. I play to get as many points as possible. I enjoy playing for sure, but that is of second importance. Against Miton I got some motivational problems - I was to motivated to play! I wanted to offer a draw, but at the same time I was really curious to see how the game evolved. I really liked playing, but at the end I took myself togheter and offered a draw, which was accepted. I think it was a good decision, since it is not so easy for me to make progess, and if I should try I have to invest a lot of time, which opens up for blunders.
